Our name "Verbum Dei", that is the "Word of God", expresses our total and exclusive dedication to praying, living and proclaiming the Word of God. For this reason, we devote a prolonged time each day to personal prayer in silence with the Scriptures.

It is listening to His Word that draws us into an intimate dialogue with Christ. Through this personal encounter with Him, our hearts and lives are transformed more and more by His Love. This experience of Christ is the source of joy in our consecrated life, and the urgency in our mission of reaching all people with His Word.
