How is the program structured?

The program is structured into 3 four-week series over the course of a semester. Each series builds upon each other.
Therefore, although it is not required to take part in all 3 four-week series in one semester, it is strongly advised for one’s personal dynamic in spiritual growth and preparation for evangelizing activities.

Commitments in the SLE?

Since each series is an integral unit of one’s own spiritual life that can lose its full meaning if fragmented, the school therefore requires a complete participation for the four-week series enrolled in.

Because SLE is not meant to be a mere theoretical reflection about evangelization, but a program to qualify and prepare people for evangelization—sharing the Good News of the Christian faith, we include the following to aid one’s own spiritual and ministerial growth as part of the program:

• Personal daily prayer/ meditation
for 15-30 min.

• In depth contemplative study time of the given material for at least 1½-2 hours per week.

Guidance and ideas on how to live these moments of prayer will be available at the first meeting and upon request.
Spiritual guidance, spiritual direction and/or Revisión de vie (Revision of Life) will be available during the course to help you discern your own process.

SLE connected to the world…

SLE is not only intended to qualify individuals for their personal or professional engagement in the ministry of Evangelization, but also in creating a network between the members of the program between the SLEs and Schools of Apostles (SA) offered by the Verbum Dei Missionary Fraternity worldwide.

How can I participate in the SLE?

To participate in the SLE requires:
